Gurfateh Pirzada shines in Call Me Bae, wins hearts with his role as Neel

Basking in the success of his recently released show ‘Call Me Bae’, Gurfateh Singh Pirzada has once again impressed the audience with his charm and skills. Revealing that his co-star Ananya Panday informed him about the show and asked to pursue it, Gurfateh also expressed his gratitude towards the director Collin DCunha for offering the part when he was at a low phase in his life.

Portraying a dedicated journalist Neel N, who believes in reporting actual news against frivolous and sensational circus, Gurfateh has the internet drooling over his charming screen presence and adorable chemistry with Ananya Panday.

Overwhelmed by the positive response to Call Me Bae and specifically his character Neel, Gurfateh penned a heartfelt post on his social media. He said, “Disclaimer, long emotional post coming up...
The last few days have been nothing short of magical... the love the audience is giving CMB and my character is better than anything I could've imagined.
Talk about right place at the right time... one fine evening at soho house (it has to be, cos one can always find me lurking there @ananyapanday told me about this show she was doing and that there's this part of the reporter that I should totally pursue...what followed was not as simple as it sounds but we somehow made it work and I was in the show just about 2 weeks from shoot... and ofcourse none of this would ve been possible without our Director sahab @collindcunha

He gave me this part when I was totally down and out; and in some weird way this was exactly the kind of work I was looking for...so I guess it all works out for the best. The whole process has been a journey and a half, but that story is for another day. As of Today, this has been such a giving experience with the most amazing crew and cast!

Soon after the release of the show, internet has been gushing over Neel and rooting for his chemistry with Bae aka Ananya Panday. Earlier, Gurfateh has showcased his versatility with diverse and intense projects like Guilty, Class and Bramhastra amongst others.
