IBN7 gets top honours at NT Awards 2010
The channel was recognised for its exceptional programming in the following award categories:
1. Best News Talk Show of the Year (Hindi) - Zindagi LIVE (Victims of 1984 Riots): Winning the award for the second year in a row, this special episode of Zindagi LIVE, relived the trauma faced by the families who lost their loved ones in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Zindagi LIVE spoke to some of these families who are still struggling for justice even after twenty five years.
NT Awards are amongst the most prestigious awards in the Indian Television space that are presented to channel programmers, anchors, presenters, technicians, producers, editors, reporters and management for excellent work under various heads like Programming Awards, Personality Awards, Promo Awards, and Special Awards. A distinguished panel of jurors from within and outside the broadcast journalism space shortlists all the entries and then decides the nominees and the winners.
