Kritika Kamra & Raghav Juyal open up on playing roles on both sides of law
'Gyaarah Gyaarah,' has taken the streaming world by storm by becoming the most successful and most-viewed series of 2024 on ZEE5. Making history with its explosive premiere, this show has had the biggest opening weekend for any streaming series on ZEE5 this year. The show follows a local police department as they race against time to solve the town's most perplexing cases. The twist? Two officers communicate through a mystical walkie-talkie that springs to life at 11:11 PM for just one minute, connecting the past and present. Producers Guneet Monga Kapoor and Karan Johar have once again teamed up to bring this intense and gripping thriller to life, with the charismatic Raghav Juyal leading the charge (post the success of Kill).
In a recent candid chat, the show's leading stars - Kritika Kamra and Raghav Juyal - opened up about the immense joy of exploring a diverse range of roles throughout their careers. Raghav was last in Kill in a negative role followed by an honest and determined cop in Gyaarah Gyaarah and similarly, Kritika Kamra was last seen in Bambai Meri Jaan as a gangster and then in Gyaarah Gyaarah as a police officer.
Raghav Juyal, who has been on a remarkable journey from dancing to hosting to acting, agreed with his co-stars. "I've always enjoyed exploring different type of work. After dancing, I moved on to choreography, then hosting, and now acting - it's been quite a journey for me. I love the challenge of trying my hand at various creative pursuits and pushing the boundaries of what I can do."
Kritika Kamra, who plays a pivotal role in the series, expressed her excitement about the wide range of roles she had the opportunity to explore. "Every actor craves to do a wide range of roles; we are fortunate that we're getting such parts. Raghav and I have been on both sides of the law, and this is what every actor wants."
