Shiva Chinnasamy Takes on Additional Role as CBO of Zee5

Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEE) has announced the appointment of Shiva Chinnasamy as the Chief Business Officer (CBO) for Zee5. Chinnasamy, who joined ZEE as Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO) on September 2, 2024, will now take on the additional responsibility of overseeing Zee5's P&L, operations, and growth.

Reflecting on his expanded role, Chinnasamy shared on LinkedIn, "In addition to my role as CTPO of Zee Entertainment Enterprises, I am entrusted with an additional role as Chief Business Officer of Zee5, responsible for its P&L, operations, and growth."

With over 20 years of experience in technology, data science, and analytics, Chinnasamy has a proven track record of delivering large-scale, long-term solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners. His expertise spans various domains, including Ad tech, eCommerce, omnichannel retail, B2C FinTech, B2B SaaS, platform engineering, and mobile engineering. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in driving impactful product innovations and ensuring tight execution.

Before joining ZEE, Chinnasamy served as the India Site Lead at Rippling, where he championed a high-performance, data-driven, and collaborative culture. His professional journey also includes impactful tenures at renowned global companies such as Google, Tesco, Target, Amazon, and Verizon Labs, where he contributed significantly to building advanced technologies and platforms.
