Lux Cozi teams up with Sourav Ganguly to reveal the 'Secret' in new TVC

Vista Communications, a leading production house known for its innovative campaigns, has launched a groundbreaking satirical TV commercial (TVC) for Lux Cozi. Featuring the iconic Sourav Ganguly, the new ad humorously claims that wearing Lux Cozi innerwear can enhance intelligence. The creative concept was expertly executed by Vista Communications, led by Chief Creative Director Jaya Sankar.

In a fiercely competitive innerwear market often dominated by conventional messages around comfort and quality, Vista Communications opted for a bold and distinctive approach. The Lux Cozi TVC features Ganguly in a lavish zamindar bungalow, engaging in a whimsical act involving a newspaper. The ad opens with a suspenseful moment as Ganguly instructs his servant to tear apart the newspaper and then piece it back together. The punchline reveals the “secret” to enhanced intellect: simply wearing Lux Cozi.

Premiering on August 19, 2024, the Lux Cozi TVC has quickly gained popularity, with viewers applauding its clever narrative and engaging execution. It has been prominently aired on major Bengali news channels, including ABP Ananda, TV9, and Zee 24 Ghanta.

Jaya Sankar shared his thoughts on the project: “Our aim was to create a memorable and engaging commercial that not only stands out but resonates with viewers. Working with Sourav Ganguly was a rewarding experience; his charisma and understanding of our concept significantly contributed to the campaign's success. By crafting a satirical narrative, we wanted to convey that Lux Cozi is not just about comfort; it represents a smart and informed choice for consumers.”

Surendra Bajaj, Vice President Marketing at Lux Industries Ltd, added: “Our goal was to engage audiences through an unconventional, disruptive idea infused with humor. We approached Vista Communications for out-of-the-box solutions, and they delivered a brilliant concept. I also want to thank Dada for showcasing his acting skills and contributing to the TVC’s success.”

Since its establishment in 2000, Vista Communications has gained recognition for producing a diverse range of content, including TVCs, corporate videos, documentaries, and short films. With over 250 projects completed for esteemed clients like Tata Motors, UNICEF, and Lux Cozi, the firm continues to push creative boundaries.
