Niva Bupa relaunches #SabKiSister campaign this Rakshabandhan
Celebrating the festival that marks the strong bond between brothers and sisters, Niva Bupa, one of India’s leading health insurance company has relaunched the heart-warming #SabKiSister campaign. Through the campaign Niva Bupa acknowledges the invaluable contribution of the healthcare staff who take care of patients during hospitalisation and thanks them for their selfless service. The nurses, who are affectionately referred to as "sisters," toil tirelessly every day to ensure the proper delivery of treatment and care and to help millions of patients during their recovery. The #SabKiSister campaign is an ode to the frontline healthcare workers.
As part of the campaign Niva Bupa has rereleased a digital film on its social media channels including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, which narrates the story of an old man who returns to the hospital on Raksha Bandhan to thank the nurse who looked after him during his hospitalization. The digital film has been released in Hindi, with subtitles in English.
Talking about the digital film, Nimish Agrawal, Executive Vice-President and Head of Marketing at Niva Bupa said, “Nurses or ‘sisters’ as they are commonly called perhaps work the hardest and closest to the patient and yet sometimes do not get the acknowledgment they deserve. We decided relaunch our very successful #SabKiSister campaign to honour the invaluable contribution they make in the journey of a patient’s recovery during hospitalisation.
People are most vulnerable during hospitalisation as they not only have to deal with the anxiety of how they will respond to the treatment but also worry about the financial implication of availing the healthcare services. Those who have a health insurance plan find it reassuring that they need not worry about the medical expenses and focus solely on recovery. Through this film we want to urge consumers to have adequate health insurance so that the memory of the time spent in hospital brings in smile on account of happy experiences and connections made during their treatment.”
A significant percentage of Indian population is pushed into poverty every year due to rising healthcare costs and not having protection of health insurance. Niva Bupa is working towards providing quality healthcare to all Indians. The #SabKiSister campaign is just one example of Niva Bupa’s efforts to support the healthcare community and to make a difference in the lives of its customers.
