Now a portal for independent artists

Hungama Digital Media has introduced a portal - ArtistAloud.com, a digital platform for independent artists, where they can release their unreleased works.

According to the media reports, the company claims that all the artist members of the portal hold the publishing rights of their compositions and can take their music onto the physical medium via any record label.

The portal also offers digital rights management free music at Rs 10 a peice. And one can also download four songs at Rs 20. The songs are available in mp3 format, for both PC and mobile devices.

The website at present features songs spanning over six genres which range from alternative pop, classic

Indi-pop, fusion, English rock, Hindi rock and Bollywood pop.
