Prime Video drops trailer for The Mehta Boys
Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for its much-anticipated original movie, The Mehta Boys. The heartfelt family drama, directed by Boman Irani, is co-written by Academy Award winner Alex Dinelaris. Produced by Boman Irani, Danesh Irani, Vikesh Bhutani, and Shujaat Saudagar, under the banner of Irani Movietone LLP in association with Chalkboard Entertainment LLP, the film features an ensemble cast, including Boman Irani, Avinash Tiwary, Shreya Chaudhry, and Puja Sarup in pivotal roles.
The Mehta Boys tells a compelling story of family conflict, vulnerability, and growth, offering a glimpse into the emotionally charged relationship between a father and son. The trailer, which is already creating waves online, highlights the raw and relatable dynamics that unfold as misunderstandings and unspoken emotions threaten to tear the bond between father and son apart.
An Intimate Family DramaThe trailer for The Mehta Boys showcases a mix of light-hearted moments and deep emotional turmoil, painting a picture of a family grappling with imperfections and unresolved issues. Avinash Tiwary, who plays Amay, Boman Irani’s son, shares: “Amay’s character is torn between familial loyalty and personal resentment. His journey of confronting his father’s flaws is transformative. The Mehta Boys premieres exclusively on Prime Video on February 7, 2025.
