Sagar Mahableshwarkar joins Bates 141 as NCD

Bates 141 the "Change Agency" is all set for one of its biggest changes for 2010. Bates 141 Search for a National Creative has finally ended with the appointment of Sagar Mahableshwarkar.

Sagar Mahabaleshwarkar currently Chief Creative Officer at Rediffusion Y & R is all set to take charge as National Creative Director of Bates 141 India & Bangladesh Region. Sagar will partner Sonal Dabral Chairman and Regional Creative Director and Sandeep Pathak Chief Executive Officer in furthering the creative agenda.

Sagar is currently serving out his notice period at Rediffusion Y & R, commenting on his decision to join Bates 141 Sagar said " It's like coming back home. I have worked with Sonal before and happy to be in that place again. In both Sonal and Pat I found shared passion and vision to create great work and I am confident that it will be a successful partnership. Bates 141 has a good portfolio of clients, on which we can up the creative ante immediately.

Sonal Dabral Chairman and Regional Creative Director Bates 141 said, "I'm very happy that a talent like Sagar is coming to the Bates 141 family. Sagar's love affair with advertising started at Ogilvy which lasted sixteen long years. Starting with Ogilvy Bangalore he honed his skills on accounts known for great art direction - Titan, Allen Solly and Brooke Bond. In 1997 he shifted to Ogilvy Mumbai and with Piyush Pandey and Sonal Dabral. It is here that he did stellar work for Tata Safari, Tata Sumo, Close-up, SBI Life Insurance, Amaron Batteries, Neo sports and WWF.

Sagar has been Chief Creative Officer at Rediffusion DY&R. His work on Airtel, Tata Nano , Colgate, LG, Sleepwell, Taj, Kingfisher & SugarFree has been much celebrated and awarded.
