Seven Indians to shortlist creative work as part of jury in Cannes Lions, 2024
Cannes Lions has announced the lineup of global experts who will serve on the jury for shortlisting exceptional creative work this June. Among them are seven Indians: Kopal Naithani, Director and Founder of Superfly Films, India (Film Lions); Gurbaksh Singh, Chief Innovation Officer at Dentsu Creative, India (Social & Influencer Lions); Ankit Desai, Head of Media, Digital Marketing, and Brand PR (India & Global Centre of Excellence) at Marico Ltd, India (Media Lions); Prashant Tekwani, Managing Partner at Havas CX, India (Brand Experience & Activation Lions); Kartikeya Tiwari, SVP and National Creative Director at FCB Kinnect India (Brand Experience & Activation Lions); Naina Meattle, Vice President of Planning at BBDO India (Direct Lions), and Nitin Mantri, the Regional Executive Managing Director for Asia-Pacific, WE Communications, and the Group CEO of Avian WE.
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity will take place from June 17 to June 21, 2024. A statement released by Cannes Lions noted that the jury comprises experts from 75 markets, representing the top talent of the global industry across various disciplines. Notably, this year's Shortlisting Jury includes representatives from markets such as Bulgaria, Slovakia, El Salvador, Algeria, Georgia, Cambodia, Uzbekistan, Nicaragua, Estonia, Kazakhstan, and Uganda for the first time.
