Shubha George to exit WPP after 35 years
Shubha George, Chief Client Officer at WPP, will step down from her role at the end of this month, marking the conclusion of a remarkable 35-year journey across seven agencies within the WPP network. She has held the position since July 2019.
Announcing her departure on LinkedIn, George expressed gratitude for her time at WPP, stating, "At the end of this month, I will be signing out of WPP—after exactly 35 years and across seven agencies. I am immensely grateful to WPP for the diverse roles and opportunities it entrusted me with along the way—thoughtfully and courageously. As I officially step away from full-time work, I reflect on my journey with a deep sense of fulfillment, gratitude, and contentment."
She also highlighted the meaningful relationships she built over the years, adding, "I leave with fond memories, deep friendships, and incredible partnerships with colleagues and clients."
Throughout her career, George has played key roles at GroupM, Mindshare, Ogilvy & Mather, Red Fuse Communications, MEC, and other leading agencies, making a lasting impact in the industry.
