Swiggy Instamart makes a child’s day by delivering chocolates in hospital

A Bengaluru doctor, Dr. Mukharjee Madivada, tweeted on September 12 about an unusual situation at Pulse Heart Super Specialty Hospital, where a young patient refused to undergo an echocardiogram unless he was given chocolates first.

The doctor, caught in a delicate balance between appeasing the child's wishes and the urgency of the procedure, turned to Swiggy Instamart for a quick solution. In a record-breaking time of just 2 minutes and 7 seconds, chocolates were delivered to the hospital, making the child’s wish come true and allowing the medical procedure to proceed without further delay.

The doctor's tweet caught the attention of Swiggy co-founder Phani Kishan Addepalli, who re-tweeted the story, saying, “It’s moments like these that make all the blood, sweat, and tears worth it.” - emphasizing the impact of going beyond mere service to deliver joy—it’s about showing up when it counts, even in the most unexpected places like a hospital.
