TV this week: Colors adds 16 points; Now placed at #2

As per TAM data for Week 39 Colors is leading by 16 points and is now at the 2nd position among the Hindi general entertainment channels. Earlier Zee TV, Sony and Colors were seen vying with each other for 2nd position and Colors has been successful inspite of having remained steady at 233 GRP’s.

 

Data from TAM subscribers for the week 23rd September- 29th September indicates that only Star Plus has gained viewership this week.  Life OK is in the 5th position as in last week and overtaken SAB TV.

 

Star Plus leads to be in the no.1 position among Hindi GEC’s . They have registered 268 points from last weeks 252 points, rising by 16 points. With 233 GRP’s Colors remained unaffected from last week’s position.

 

Now Zee TV in the 3rd position is seen to have recorded 217 points as against last week’s 235 points. In week 38 they were ahead of Colors at 235 GRP’s  but their points have dipped this week.

 

Sony Entertainment Channel is presently in the 4th position. The channel which garnered 232 GRP’s last week have seen a downward trend and are at 202 GRP’s losing 30 points from last week’s ratings.

 

Life OK is in the 5th position with 124 points which they have sustained since last week.

 

SAB TV which registered 131 GRP’s last week have dipped this week to 122 points bringing them to the 6th position.

 

As against last weeks 29 GRP’s Sahara One have gained 5 points this week to reach 34 GRP’s.

 

On the other hand Star Utsav which was at 34 GRP’s last week have lost 3 points and are at 31 GRP’s this week.

 

The ratings for matches played in the week are:

 

For India vs England Match - DD National had an average of 1.7 TVR , ESPN had 0.3 TVR and Star Cricket 4.5 TVR.

 

For India vs Australia Match – DD National an average of 1.4 TVR, ESPN 0.3 TVR and Star Cricket 3.8 TVR.
