How do you effectively balance your various roles as Director of PARÉ Innovations and other responsibilities? What challenges do you face in managing them all?

Balancing multiple roles requires strong time management and delegation. As Director of PARÉ Innovations, I focus on setting strategic directions, while empowering my team to manage day-to-day operations. Challenges include maintaining oversight while allowing autonomy, but creating a collaborative and transparent environment helps overcome this.

Could you walk us through a typical day in your life? What are the top 5-7 activities that you prioritize daily?

My day typically starts with early morning exercise to clear my mind, followed by reviewing my priorities for the day. I focus on key tasks like strategic planning, team meetings, and monitoring ongoing projects. I also ensure I’m constantly learning, whether by reading industry updates or exploring new innovations. Lastly, I dedicate time for personal reflection and family.

What initially inspired you to pursue a career in your field? How did you prepare for this role alongside your other pursuits?

Traveling abroad opened my eyes to the gap in quality building materials in regions like USA and Europe. This observation, coupled with my desire to contribute to India’s Make in India campaign, inspired me to start PARÉ Innovations. I prepared by gaining industry experience and knowledge, as well as aligning with the right mentors.

Did you have any mentors or role models who guided you along the way? How did they impact your professional journey?

Yes, mentors played a vital role in my journey, including my father, who is also the Managing Director of PARÉ Innovations. I am particularly inspired by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, whose teachings on mindfulness, compassion, and work-life balance have deeply influenced my approach to leadership and personal growth. His emphasis on inner peace and clarity has helped me stay grounded in times of stress, making it easier to navigate challenges. Following his guidance has taught me the value of empathy and resilience, which are crucial for personal and professional success.

How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance? What strategies or practices do you use to manage stress and prioritize your well-being?

I believe in setting clear boundaries and ensuring that I make time for hobbies like reading and exercising. These activities help me unwind and recharge. I also delegate effectively to prevent burnout and maintain a balanced perspective.

Could you share some of the key milestones or achievements in your career? How have these shaped your growth trajectory?

One key milestone was the successful launch of the first Soffit Panels manufacturing plant in India. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, this achievement demonstrated the importance of persistence and innovation, reinforcing my belief in the company’s potential to lead in the building materials industry.

How do you stay informed and up-to-date in your industry? Are there any specific resources, tools, or strategies that you depend upon?

I rely on a mix of industry reports, attending global trade shows, and connecting with experts from across the globe. Reading about new technologies and innovations helps keep my ideas fresh and relevant.

What fuels your passion for the diverse roles you hold? How do you ensure continued growth and relevance in each field?

The ability to innovate and create products that have a tangible impact on infrastructure fuels my passion. Staying relevant comes from a constant pursuit of learning and pushing boundaries. I also ensure that I surround myself with a talented team that challenges and inspires me to grow further.
