Biggest user exodus in X follows after Donald Trump's election win
X formerly called Twitter has experienced its biggest user departure since the year 2022 after the recent win of Donald Trump in the US Presidential Election according to sources. Several users shifted to using other platforms such as Bluesky as per CNN with over 115000 US users deactivating their X accounts via the X website the next day after the election.
The user base of Bluesky has doubled in a span of 90 days and has reached the mark of 15 million post the acquisition of 1 million signups in one week.
The Guardian has announced about exiting from X due to the influential role of Elon Musk in US Presidential elections.
Mara Gay from New Times, Charlie Warzel and other journalists have made the announcement of their departure from X this week and have joined Bluesky which is giving a tough competition to X.
