Google makes powerful AI Assistant more accessible to Arabic speakers

Arabic speakers around the world can now experience the power of Google's advanced conversational AI tool, Gemini. This expansion includes the following:

  • A dedicated Gemini app for Android which can be downloaded from Google Play,  allowing users to make Gemini their primary assistant.
  • Gemini integration within the iOS Google app which will permit iPhone users to access Gemini by tapping the Gemini toggle within the existing Google app.

In addition to extensive accessibility, Google is introducing Gemini Advanced in Arabic. This premium tier provides users access to the new AI model, Gemini 1.5 Pro, capable of handling complex tasks such as creative collaboration and coding. Users can try Gemini Advanced for free of cost  for a period of two months before subscribing to it.

Here's what this translates to for Arabic speakers:

  • Effortless mobile access: Interact with Gemini through voice, text, or images directly from your phone.
  • Seamless integration: Leverage extensions to connect Gemini with other Google services like Maps, Docs, and Gmail (available in English and Arabic).
  • Enhanced productivity: Utilize Gemini's capabilities for tasks like research, planning, and project management.

This launch expands upon the commitment of Google for bringing AI to Arabic users. Gemini, earlier known to be Bard, can comprehend questions in more than 16 Arabic dialects and respond in Modern Standard Arabic. With more features on the horizon, Google is dedicated to the  empowerment of  Arabic speakers with the latest AI advancements.
