The BGMI Masters Series clocked a peak concurrent viewership of 350,000 on YouTube and over 3.8 million views across Hindi and English streams, standing testament to the immense popularity of high-quality esports events in India.
This year has also highlighted the rise of mobile-first gaming, with developers creating titles that not only resonate with local audiences, but appeal to global players, reflecting India’s potential as a hub for gaming innovation. The growth of both casual and competitive gaming, alongside the increasing role of esports organizations as lifestyle brands, has helped shift perceptions, making gaming a central part of youth culture. These organizations are attracting sponsorships from diverse industries, further embedding esports into mainstream entertainment.
