JSW Steel appoints Tarun Jha as Head of Marketing
JSW Steel has appointed Tarun Jha as its new Head of Marketing. Jha brings with him a wealth of experience from various esteemed organizations across different industries.
Jha began his career as an Account Executive at Mudra Communications Ltd, gaining early experience in advertising and client management. He then moved on to Ogilvy and Mather, one of the world's leading marketing and communications agencies, where he further honed his marketing skills.
Following his tenure at Ogilvy and Mather, Jha held significant roles in several major companies. He worked with Videocon Group and Mahindra & Mahindra, where he contributed to their marketing strategies. His career trajectory continued to rise as he took on the role of Head of Marketing at SKODA India, and later at ŠKODA AUTO Volkswagen India Pvt. Ltd., where he played a crucial role in driving brand growth and customer engagement.
Jha also served as the CEO of Havas India, a leading global communications agency. His most recent position was that of a Strategic Advisor, where he leveraged his extensive experience to provide insights and guidance on marketing and business strategy.
An alumnus of the University of Allahabad, Jha holds an MBA and has a strong foundation in business administration and strategic planning. His areas of expertise include steering growth through innovative customer engagement and strategic planning initiatives. Jha is dedicated to delivering value and aims to lead JSW Steel towards sustainable growth within the competitive steel industry.
