Mondelez Unveils ‘Studio Creations’ by Cadbury with Saif & Kareena
Mondelez India has launched 'Studio, Creations by Cadbury,' marking its entry into the high-end chocolate market in the country. This new line intends to cater to the increasing demand for upscale gifting choices, especially during festive seasons. To support the launch, Cadbury has set up dedicated social media channels to enhance brand visibility.
To introduce the product, Mondelez rolled out a marketing campaign featuring Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, focusing on elegance and exclusivity. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi (Bob), and produced by Good Morning Films with Robin D'Cruz and Ojaswini Raheja, the campaign highlights luxury gifting, targeting customers seeking premium chocolate options for festive gifting.
The product's packaging, designed by Design Bridge Singapore, was tailored to reinforce the brand’s premium imageThe creative direction was led by Ogilvy, with Sukesh Nayak, Harshad Rajadhyaksha, and Kainaz Karmakar at the helm, while Wavemaker managed the media strategy and planning.
Priced at ₹494 for 130 grams, Studio is positioned at a considerably higher cost than Cadbury’s widely popular Celebrations gift packs, which are priced at ₹134 for 144.1 grams on Zepto. This pricing strategy has sparked concerns about the possibility of internal competition, with consumers potentially opting for Studio over Cadbury Celebrations.
