Nykaa Fashion hires Sougata Basu as VP of Category and Brand Management

Sougata Basu has been appointed as the Vice President of Category and Brand Management at Nykaa Fashion. He announced his new role on LinkedIn.

Before joining Nykaa Fashion, Basu served as AVP and Business Head at Ace Turtle. A seasoned management professional with over 17 years of experience, he has held leadership roles across Retail, E-commerce, FMCG Foods, and the Health and Fitness sectors.

Throughout his career, he has successfully built and led teams to achieve sustainable business growth and profitability by adopting customer-centric strategies and implementing tech-supported category interventions. His previous roles include tenures at Myntra, Flipkart, Cure.Fit, among others.
