Prasar Bharati invites proposals for app platform integration with its OTT service

Prasar Bharati has called for submissions to integrate various application platforms with its OTT service.One option includes incorporating gaming, OTT, educational, or other apps into the Prasar Bharati OTT platform on a revenue-sharing arrangement, with only the applicant’s platform contributing content to Prasar Bharati.

Another option suggests a similar integration, however includes the exchange of content between the applicant platform and Prasar Bharati under a revenue-sharing model.

Recently, Prasar Bharati also sought applications for onboarding linear satellite TV channels for streaming on its OTT platform for a tenure of one-year.

Gaming apps encouraging  'betting',  'monetary transactions, or 'games of chance' in any form will be prohibited. No processing fee will be charged for reviewing applications, and submissions should be emailed to ott-content@prasarbharati.gov.in.
