Sony SAB's ‘Shrimad Ramayan' unveils Ayodhya's first Diwali
In a heartwarming episode, Sony SAB's popular mythological series, "Shrimad Ramayan," witnessed the triumphant return of Lord Ram and Sita to Ayodhya after their fourteen-year exile. The occasion marked the first-ever Diwali celebration in the city, a joyous event that was filled with hope, relief, and festivity.
As Lord Ram and Sita approached Ayodhya, Hanuman, the loyal devotee, was sent ahead to prepare the city for their arrival. However, he found the residents shrouded in sadness and anxiety, longing for their divine rulers' return. To dispel the gloom and bring joy back to Ayodhya, Hanuman and Bharat suggested lighting diyas, a tradition that would not only illuminate the city but also symbolize the triumph of light over darkness.
The city of Ayodhya was transformed into a sea of light as residents eagerly awaited the arrival of their beloved Lord Ram and Sita. The divine couple's homecoming was a momentous occasion, filling the hearts of the people with immense joy and relief.
Sujay Reu, who portrays the role of Lord Ram, expressed his deep connection to the emotions of Ayodhya's residents. "I feel honored to be part of this iconic story and to share the joy of Lord Ram and Sita's homecoming with our audience," he said. "This moment symbolizes hope and the triumph of light over darkness, which is the true essence of Diwali."
