Myntra hires industry veteran Vikas Ahuja As Its CMO!

Myntra today announced the appointment of Vikas Ahuja as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), with immediate effect. In his new role, Vikas will be responsible for the sales and marketing functions and driving the overall brand strategy at Myntra.

Speaking on the occasion, Mukesh Bansal, CEO & Co-Founder, Myntra said, "This is a critical and incredibly exciting time for Myntra as we continue to scale our business. With over 18 years of sales and marketing experience, Vikas has held various leadership roles with the world's leading nutrition, health and wellness company, Nestle. In his last role as Country Business Manager, he was responsible for setting up new businesses. In his 18 years, Vikas has shown his passion for strategic and creative thinking, with great results achieving significant turnaround in business/market shares, launching new products/brands/extensions, besides establishing strong innovation pipeline of the products under his portfolio. Vikas has led some well-loved brands in the Nestle portfolio like Bar-One, Milky-Bar, Kit-Kat, Munch, NESCAFE, MAGGI etc and successfully re-positioned the MAGGI brand on a ‘Taste and Health’ platform through strong consumer insight and research.

Early in his career, Vikas was part of the core management team of egurucool.com as its CMO and was responsible for the startup’s overall marketing strategy, products and communication.

Vikas holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics from St. Xaviers', Calcutta and an MBA from IIM, Calcutta.
