Gunjan Soni moves on from Zomato as Independent Director

Gunjan Soni has officially resigned from her role as an independent director at Zomato, citing increased work commitments as the reason for her departure.

In a filing with the BSE, it was announced that Soni will also step down from her roles on the company's risk management committee and corporate social responsibility committee.She began her professional journey at Infosys Technologies and later held significant positions at McKinsey & Company, Star India, Myntra, and Zalora Group.

During her tenure as the chief executive officer of Zalora Group, Soni played a pivotal role in establishing strategic priorities that strengthened ZALORA’s status as a leading fashion e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia.

As the chief marketing officer at Myntra, she was instrumental in developing key marketing strategies and innovations aimed at connecting brand offerings with customer desires through creative initiatives.
