Renilson Joseph joins BBDO

Renilson Joseph has quit Grey Bengaluru to join BBDO as AVP. At Grey, Joseph was strategic planning director. As he joins BBDO, Joseph will be responsible for BBDO's two very major accounts ' Aviva and Quaker Oats.

In a media report, Joseph said that he wanted to get associated with an agency that created opportunities and give back to the business in terms of work he would generate. Joseph has an experience of 12 years to his credit. His corporate life started with Westar Watches where he was sales officer looking after Goa, Belgaum and North Canara.

Following this, he stepped into the advertising world and worked with Trikaya Grey in Bengaluru for one year. He moved to Lowe from Trikaya Grey.

Joseph also got associated with McCann Erickson for two years and joined Ogilvy after that. Subsequently, he shifted gears and entered the marketing world by joining Japan Tobacco International as a brand manager in 2003. He was one of the key members responsible for launching cigarette brands like Gold Coast and More.

He got back into the space of advertising in 2005 and joined Ad Inc. in Muscat. Within a few months he relocated to India to take up a position with TBWA in Chennai in mid 2005. He later came aboard Bates 141 and in 2008 became a part of Grey.

Through his corporate climb, Joseph has worked on brands like Volvo, Amante, Allen Solly, Loop Mobile, Spencer's, Timex, Titan, Hindustan Unilever, MTV and Dockers among others.
